Mark Requinta with his wife and their five children

Sixteen years in Winnipeg. Five kids. One reason to run.

Mark came to Winnipeg in 2010 and built a life here. He spent seven years supervising teams at a casino, learning what accountability looks like when the public is watching.

When his wife took on a demanding career as an ER nurse, they made a decision together: he would take the greater role at home. Today he works part time in the staffing office at St. Boniface Hospital and raises five children.

He knows what it costs a family when a bus does not come, a community centre closes early, or a tax bill climbs without an explanation.

How Mark will do the job.

Listens first
The best ideas come from the people who already live here. Listening comes before the decision, not after it.
Leads with integrity
Straight answers, consistent standards, and reasoning that any resident can check for themselves.
Puts people before politics
Public service is not about politics. It is about whether your street, your bus stop, and your community centre actually work.

Campaigns are built by neighbours.

Door knocking, phone calls, translation, a few hours on a Saturday. Whatever you can give, there is a job that fits it.
